Ordering and Servicing

Ordering Procedure

Procedure for Ordering on Whidbey Island

  1. Begin with a telephone consultation: call Dean at (206) 324-5055.
  2. Re-read the pages on this web site that pertain to our discussion.
  3. Schedule a date for Dean to make a personal visit to your location to walk around with you and look at your situation.
  4. Make sure that you or Dean checks your water pressure. Most systems require 10-12 gallons per minute of flow.
  5. Decide which system would be most appropriate for your water issues.
  6. Payment can be made with cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, or card. Dean will email you a receipt.
  7. Your system will arrive within a week to ten days unless there are shipping issues.
  8. Because plumbers are booked so far out, plan ahead and schedule a plumber early, unless you plan to install it yourself.
  9. If you order an ECOsmarte system, it will arrive with your water test.
  10. When Dean delivers your system, he will set up your equipment so that it is ready for the plumber to connect everything.
  11. Take your water test samples on a Monday or Tuesday. Follow the instructions. Next-day shipping is pre-paid.
  12. Once the system has been plumbed, Dean will return to inspect the plumbing and wiring, to backwash the tanks, and to explain in detail each component so you know how your system works and how to maintain it.
  13. You will have two choices:
    1. Install it as soon as it arrives but leave space on each end in case your test shows you will need extra equipment.
    2. Wait a month for all 130+ contaminants to be tested. If you have other issues, such as arsenic, wait until that is delivered to you and install all the equipment at the same time.
