This system consists of :

  • One million gallon rated activated carbon and hydroxite filter tanks, with automatic timed back wash valves,
  • Dual ionization and oxygen electrodes, and
  • the system comes equipped with a retention tank.

Requirements

Space
Allow at least 2’x6′ floor space as a minimum.

Electrical
Provide at least 4 electrical outlets near the installation.

Drainage
Decide on where the drainage water will flow during each backwash cycle. 
For example, route the water into a downspout, an overflow drain, an irrigation ditch, a field or vacant vegetation, or a pond.

Flow Rate
The most important requirement for this system to operate properly is a flow rate range of 10-15 gallons per minute. If your gpm is higher, a flow reducer can be added. If it is lower than 10 gpm, it will be necessary to add at least a 300-gallon holding tank with float switches, a booster pump, and a pressure tank if one does not already exist.
